These photographs were taken by J. Fernando Lamadrid at the Hispanic Hall of Fame Legend Awards held at Town Hall in New York City on April 25, 2000. This once in a lifetime event honored leading Hispanic personalities of the 20th Century including Vicky Carr, Music; Roberto Clemente, Sports; Hector Elizondo, Television; Jose Feliciano, Music; Katy Jurado, Film; Tito Puente' Music; Polito Vega, Radio. The program featured presentations by Jimmy Smits, Edward James Olmos, Gary Marshall, Peter Gallagher, India, Jon Seda, Ralph Mercado, and performances by Jose Feliciano, Tito Puente, Brenda K. Starr, and Frankie Negron, and the Folkloric Dance Company of Mexico and the Eddie Torres Dancers. Your feedback is welcome.
