Cynthia "La China"

Cynthia "la china" is a professional Salsa dance instructor and choreographer. She teaches private lessons and group classes in Manhattan and in Brooklyn. She teaches both Kids Salsa Performing classes and Adult beginners Salsa classes. She has developed Cultural Dance Programs for schools and cultural institutions
She received her Dance Education in Mambo and Salsa from Maria & Eddie3 Torres, Frankie Martinez, Carlos Konig, Karisma Dance Studio and SantoRico Dance School,.
Cynthia has years of training in Salsa, Mambo, Ballroom, Cha Cha Cha, Swing, Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Belly Dance, Argentine Tango. Also she was invited to join the Ritmo Caliente Dance Group where she excelled as a performer.
She was born and raised in Hong Kong and later moved to New York City. She is a resident of Brooklyn, New York.

Winsome
Winsome is a professional dancer who choreographs and performs internationally. She is an innovative choreographer and an exigent and experienced instructor who teaches in New York City and abroad. Winsome has traveled to various countries including Argentina, Puerto Rico, Italy, Japan, and Hong Kong to perform and conduct workshops.
Winsome was one of the first Asian faces on the New York Salsa Dance sceene. Her theatriical coreography and costume styling for the Latin Jazz Ensemble "Mamfu", set the standard for performance from 1999 forward. Although the Mamfu routine influenced almost all future performance at Salsa Congresses and Dance Socials very few dance companies have been able to combine their cultural backgrounds with a high level of theater while not forgeting that the main pooint is the Dance.
