Midsummer Night Swing
In the Summer months on Lincoln Center's Josie Robertson Plaza, located on Columbus Avenue at 63rd Street,
the Midsummer Night Swing outdoor concert and dance series takes place. Many dance and music
lovers take advantage of the fresh air and this high quality event.
Each year Lincoln Center offers a number of Great Salsa and Latin bands for your dancing pleasure.
The tickets are reasonably priced and it is even possible to enjoy the shows and dancing without paying the ticket price
that allows you access to the dance floor and stage areas of the event. Food and drink vendors sell there sumptuous
offerings and refreshing libations to the throngs of New Yorkers, tourists, and other event goers.

A New York City favorite, Midsummer Night Swing returns to Lincoln Center's Josie Robertson Plaza for its 17th season.
This outdoor dance party features 23 dance-filled nights with energetic bands playing everything from swing to salsa and more.
From June 16 - July 16, 2005 the Lincoln Center organization offers you the chance to Dance Under The Stars.
Dance lessons are included given by some of New York City's best instructors from 6:30 to 7:15 PM and are included
in the cost of admission.Dancing starts at 7:30 PM and runs for two full sets
until 10:00 PM. An admission bracelet allows you to come and go from the dance floor all night long.
There are a number of GREAT Latin events including Salsa, Mambo, and Merengue dance concerts. Tickets are $15 and
include a lesson and admission to dance floor. There are a number of ways to save money for those that frequent
the event regularly. The discounts named Swing Passes come in six-night, ten-night, or full-season passes,
which provides guaranteed admission to the dance floor any night and save you money! A maximum of two people per night
will be admitted on one pass. Admission for two equals the value of two nights.
Passes go on sale from May 2 and single tickets go on sale on May 16, 2005.
There are a number of ways to purchase tickets including by telephone, on the Lincoln Center Website as well as
at the Avery Fischer Box Office. Single tickets will now be on sale in advance and on the day of the show at
the box office - purchase tickets early to avoid being locked off the dance floor!
