LQ Night Club ~ NYC ~ June 1, 2005

Yolanda Rivera and Choco Orta played at LQ, Salsa Music legends Marty Aret's and Ralph Mercado's new Salsa club in New York City on June 1, 200. LQ is located at Lexington Avenue and 48th Streets in Manhattan. Cita Rodriquez got up on stage to "sonear" for the last set. In attendance were some of New York's fine Salsa dancers and music lovers of all ages and ethnic origins. LQ is a comfortable new Salsa club with multiple bars an ample dance floor and many lounge areas situated in strategic areas around the club.

Most of the seating and lounges have great views of the stage. There are also about a dozen flat screen television monitors and projectors that display the images of the band live. The music system is powerful and it is capable of filling the room with a rich sound. Many awesome salsa bands play at LQ on Wednesday nights.
