Annual Copacabana Foundation Night

Copacabana Nightclub in NYC on 5/2/03

With the theme of "Change a Life and Dance the Night Away", Lisandro Mesa, Orquesta Canel, and Josie Estaban played at the Annual Copacabana Foundation Night in benifit of the Helping the Children Foundation and the Hermandad Foundation. These foundations do charity work in Latin America. Due to the generosity of the participants and the almost 2000 people that attended the event over $60,000 dollars was raised.

This will allow Dr. david C. Hoffman, and other extraordinary doctors to perform maxillofacial surgery on 200 children in Colombia and the Dominican Republic. It also alows 15 girls (and their "Big Sisters") from these countries to attend a special horse camp in the United States. Remaining funds in the amount of $10,000 are slated towards water and sanitation projects in Latin America. These photographs were taken by J.
