Create awareness through media!
Mission
Musicians Against Violence (MAV) is a coalition of dedicated artists and
musicians from the entertainment industry; individuals who are against
domestic violence and violence of any kind. As musicians, they recognize
their responsibility to convey positive messages and to serve as role models
for their audience and communities. MAV members are committed to utilizing their
public persona as a vehicle in the effort to build awareness, support, and
eradication of this hideous crime.
Methods
Serve as a vehicle to create awareness in the entertainment industry.
Create Special events and activities to raise public awareness of domestic violence.
Raise funds for Non-For-Profit organizations providing direct service to victims.
