Let's Dance ~ US Postal Service Offers Latin Dance Stamps

This summer, the U S Postal Service will celebrate the contributions of
Latino art to American culture by issuing four commemorative postage stamps
showcasing four popular dances: the Salsa, Cha-cha-cha, Mambo and Meringue.
Latino artists have created individual designs that express their personal
interpretations of Meringue, Salsa, Cha-cha-cha, and Mambo, using vivid colors
and sinuous shapes to capture the energy generated by dancers moving to the clave beat.
Soon we will provide links to information that shows the dates and locations of celebrations
the U S Postal Service will have throughout the year highlighting these stamps.

Este verano el Servicio Postal de los Estados Unidos celebrara las contribuciones del
arte latino a la cultura americana sacando 4 estampillas conmemorativas destacando
4 bailes populares - la Salsa, el Chachachá, el Mambo, y el Merengue.
Usando colores vivos y formas sinuosas artistas latinos han creado diseños individuales
que espesan sus impresiones personales del Merengue, la Salsa, el Chachachá, y el Mambo.
Con estas ellos logran captar la energía generado por los bailadores cuando se mueven
al ritmos de la clave.
